Children & Adults with disabilities are at a disadvantage and may need to work harder to achieve their goals. At JBM Legacy, we have the patience and knowledge of what it takes to understand their needs. When working with children and adults with disabilities, it is imperative to keep an open mind, continue to research, and discover the latest innovative trends and teaching strategies used successfully.
JBM Legacy serves individuals with many disabilities, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), brain injuries, physical injuries, Autism, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities and more. We believe that all individuals should be treated fairly and equally. Compassion and understanding will go a long way and it is of extreme importance that we as educators/trainers have the skills needed to remain calm and demonstrate patience, during times of tension or frustration.
