DENNIS MOORE JR
Dennis Moore Jr is currently a resident of Queens, NY. After completing High School at Stroudsburg, in Pennsylvania, Dennis went on to play basketball at Sussex County Community College, which is a division III School in New Jersey. During his time at SCCC, Dennis entered the college basketball scene with a bang, averaging 24 points per game, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks a game. Dennis scored over 1,240 points in his two years at SCCC, being named an All American in his second year at the school. Because of his dominate play; Dennis received over 100 college offers from division 1 to division 3 colleges.
Dennis accepted a basketball scholarship to Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. Dennis sat out a year for a redshirt transfer. After a coaching change at the school, Dennis decided to move back closer to home and attend the College of Staten Island, where he averaged over 20 points per game, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks a game. Dennis finished his career at York College where he won his first CUNY Championship, while still being a dominate force on the court. Dennis finished his college career averaging 23 points per game, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks a game.
Since his playing days Dennis has been the head coach at PS 233. PS233 is a district 75 school for students with special needs, ranging from Emotional Disturbance to Physical Disabilities. He has differentiated his coaching to produce a competitive basketball team. Not only do his players learn basketball skills but he also teaches his players, good sportsmanship, social and discipline skills.

MICHELE MOORE

Michele Moore is the Co-Director of JBM Legacy. She is responsible for the programming, fundraising and operations of the program.

Michele Moore was born and raised in New York. She earned a B.S. in Community Health Education from York College University. Mrs. Moore has found ways to bring her health background to the parents and athletes in the program.

Michele Moore has been coordinating basketball statistics for the last 15 years. She has also coordinated stats for volleyball and softball. Michele Moore has been apart of the Legacy family since it began in 2015. When Mrs. Moore's oldest daughter became involved in basketball, Mrs. Moore's love for the game developed. Michele has been under the tutelage of Coach Dennis Moore for the last 6 years.
